Townly Rigg's affidavit of death states that he died on November 21, 1877 and lists his heirs as follows: Phebe M. (his widow), Thomas T., Maria Sloan, (all of Quito, Bulter County, Kansas) Mary J. Sloan (Hay City, Kansas), Charles Rigg, John Rigg,(both of Mount Carmel, Illinois) Frank Rigg (Woodbine, Iowa), and the heirs of William Rigg (P.O. Dunlap, Iowa).
