Lois Leila Rigg, was born in Leon, Kansas on August 2, 1914 to Perry D. Rigg and Euphema Luttrell Rigg. She was a twin. Also arriving on that same eventful day was Frances Louise Rigg. They really were inseparable. It was well known that when one would start a sentence, the other would finish it. Lois was a reporter for the Le-Hi-On...the Leon Rural High School paper. As with the rest of her siblings, she was very active in School and Church. They all attended local area schools, graduating from Leon Rural High School. Lois married Virgil Paul Thompson on December 4, 1937. They had three children, Linda Leila, Virginia Lucille, and Paul Dean. Lois was an accomplished artist. Virgil died in April of 1979. Lois died on September 22, 1984.
